Terms and conditions

How enquiries, surveys and quotations work, and your rights. The contract for any installation is issued separately with your quotation.

  1. 01

    These terms

These terms cover the use of this website and the process of enquiring, being surveyed and receiving a quotation. The terms of any installation work are set out in the written contract you receive with your quotation, and those take precedence over anything here.

  2. 02

    Enquiries and surveys

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract and places no obligation on either of us. We may decline an enquiry, for example where the property falls outside the area we can reach or where the work is not something we do.

We survey the property before quoting. A survey is an inspection, not a design: it establishes what the building needs, and the design and quotation follow from it.

  3. 03

    Quotations

A quotation sets out the equipment specified, the work included, what is excluded, and the price. It is based on what we found at survey.

Where something is discovered during installation that could not reasonably have been seen at survey, such as concealed structural or electrical problems, we will stop, explain what we have found and agree how to proceed before doing further work or incurring further cost.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them.

  4. 04

    Your right to cancel

Where a contract is agreed at your home or somewhere other than our business premises, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into it, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

If you ask us to begin work within that period and then cancel, we may charge for what has already been done. We will tell you this before starting.

This right applies to consumers. It does not apply to business customers.

  5. 05

    Grants and funding

Where a grant or funding scheme is mentioned, eligibility is determined by the scheme operator and not by us. We can tell you what a scheme currently requires and help with an application, but we cannot guarantee an outcome.

Scheme rules change, and schemes close. The grants and funding page carries the date each entry was last checked.

  6. 06

    Warranties and guarantees

Equipment carries the manufacturer's own warranty, which is handed over with the installation documentation. Workmanship and any insurance-backed guarantee are covered separately, and the terms are set out in the paperwork you receive.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  7. 07

    This website

We try to keep the information on this site accurate and current, and we date the parts that change, such as grant information. It is general information about our services and is not advice about your particular property. Advice about your property comes from a survey.

The content and design of this site belong to Pure Environs Ltd.

    Complaints

If something is wrong, tell us and we will try to put it right. Contact details are on the contact page.

  9. 09

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
